Copyright Policy

Vobbl respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Vobbl mobile application ("Vobbl", "the App", "we", "us") to do the same. This policy explains how to report content you believe infringes your copyright, and how we respond.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement (DMCA Notice)

If you believe that Content on the App (for example, a photo, video, or map annotation posted by another user) infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to us (Section 3) containing:

A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
Identification of the material you claim is infringing, and information reasonably sufficient to let us locate it in the App (e.g. a link, username, or catch/post description).
Your contact information: name, mailing address, phone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on the owner's behalf.

Notices that do not substantially include the information above may not be actionable.

2. Counter-Notification

If you believe Content you posted was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice to us containing:

Your physical or electronic signature.
Identification of the material that was removed and its location in the App before removal.
A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
Your name, address, and phone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which Vobbl may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original notice.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notice, we may restore the removed Content, unless the original complaining party informs us within a reasonable time (typically ten business days) that they have filed a legal action seeking a court order to restrain the alleged infringer from engaging in infringing activity.

Notices sent to any other address may be delayed or not received.

4. Repeat Infringers

We may, in appropriate circumstances and at our discretion, disable and/or terminate the accounts of users who are found to repeatedly infringe the copyrights of others.
